Sherry’s goal is to help people live happy, healthy, successful lives that bring them joy.

By her sophomore year in college, she was the youngest person in Texas to hold a real estate license. Before graduating with a BS in Education she took a part-time job as a Reservations Clerk. That job led to a memorable 34-year career with Marriott International.
​
After earning her stripes as a Reservations Manager, Front Office Manager, Director of Services, Restaurant Manager and Resident Manager, Sherry enjoyed 3 General Manager assignments before working as Regional Director of Human Resources.
​
She went on to work at Marriott Headquarters as Vice President of Management Staffing and Development with the goal of helping increase the number of women and minorities in leadership positions.
​
McCool Consulting was initially created to support organizations with talent assessment and development, to help business leaders create a shared vision with their teams and to establish with them the processes necessary for delivering exceptional results.
​
Sherry is passionate about her own development, she earned her MA in Human Resources Development in St Louis and has welcomed the opportunity to study with Jack Canfield for many years. She is a Certified Canfield Success Principles Trainer and is also a certified Barrett Values Model Practitioner. Sherry is a published author, Life Lessons in Success, and has another book currently heading to the publisher: The Feedback Code.

Sherry believes everyone should have the opportunity to breakthrough limiting beliefs that hold them back from achieving their biggest goals and highest potential.
